We're testing powder coating as a possible finish option. The advantages of powder coating is a wide range of colors and textures. The main disadvantage is that it is not as durable as our atomically bonded Black Diamond™ Finish or our other extremely robust finishes, which are almost invincible. That being said, from our testing the powder coating has held up reasonably well. Most likely we will apply an similarly colored atomically bonded finish prior to powder coating. If over time there is wear on the powder coat around the edges the aesthetics will be preserved. Still need more testing and more on this to come. So far it looks like a promising way to add some unique colors and textures.
